How many of us Indians are interested in keeping our city clean? Atleast our streets? If you are interested, how many of us have taken the initiatives to keep it clean? Very few. We speak a lot than we do. But a bunch of members have once again proved the Chinese saying "Action speaks louder than words". Yes! These bunch of young people 'DOERS', Mumbai, have taken the initiative. This team with high hopes is being lead by a 28 yr old Fashion designer who has left his profession for the ultimate goal of keeping their city clean. DOERS started after the Mumbai train blast which took many lives. They wanted to make the Mumbai city a beautiful city again. They have their T-Shirts printed with the hand holder in the train. Starting from cleaning the beach, all the dirts, waste polythene covers, cans, plastic and putting the bio-degradable and the non-degradable wastes in seperate baggage creating an awareness among the public. They may be small in number, but have inspired a huge number of youth. Every youth in their own locality must take the same action atleast to keep their streets clean. This will make each city clean, naturally making India a clean and a pr=eace place to live in. Also welcoming more tourists from around the world. This would increase the Indian Government Khazana ;). Hats off to the 'DOERS'.
